Algonquin Provincial Park

Things of note that come to my head:

Far detour to Toronto but totally worth it.
Most abundant wildlife: chipmunks aka Chipper.
Carrying canoes and heavy packs over multiple kilometers is not easy.
Awesome swimming hole at High Falls.
Sleeping in a hammock can get very cold in the middle of the night, but makes for a great view of the stars. Also is dangerous if it starts raining in the middle of the night, as happened to Taylor.
Spencer had a rough time with his bee bites.
Vanishing Pond is true to its name - more like a swamp with a few inches of water and impassable obstacles like beaver dams and rocks.
Don't forget water filters on canoe trips.
It is nice to have a whole island to yourselves: Sunbeam Lake.
